For five years in a row, FNL Guide and its exclusive “Fine Red Wines” annual event have been setting the standards for both Greek and international winemaking and tasting. The concept of the event originated in an effort to make authentic rare and fine wine tasting more approachable to the everyday wine aficionado. The term fine wine, of course, is always open to interpretation. Whether it’s old wineries or classic vintages, experimental vinification or labels that allow producers to show off their knowledge or overall philosophy, this is a world of pure inspiration.
This year, “Fine Red Wines” will be taking place at the emblematic Grande Bretagne Hotel, on Sunday the 18th of November 2018 followed by a private dinner, held on the very next day at the Tudor Hall, located inside King George Hotel. The dinner menu of the event will be curated by famous Greek chefs, Asterios Kostoudis and Alexandros Koskinas with an emphasis on Nebbiolo and truffles. Iconic wines expected to be served include Don Giovani, Nebbiolo Langhe, and Barolo Le Vigne. All truffles served will be provided by our sister company, Greek Luxury Products. This will be the first year that our company will be participating in the “Fine Red Wines” event and what we consider an amazing opportunity to help promote Greek wines and the art of winemaking in general.
Greek Luxury Products will also be participating in the event with its own luxury products stand featuring Jamon hand sliced, bruschetta with marmalade and rillettes, blinis with tarama fish roe and fleur de maviar.
